- • Alcohol is prohibited on all Lakshadweep islands.
- • No diving 24 hours before flying. Plan your last dive accordingly.
- • Mobile network is limited — BSNL has best coverage. Carry an offline map.
- • Cash recommended — card/UPI acceptance is growing but not universal.
- • Reef-safe sunscreen only. Chemical sunscreens damage coral.
- • Respect local culture — dress modestly when in the village areas.
